The pilot’s wife

This time Anita is mixing marriage and criminal drama in her book. The idea of the book is basically okay, but the plot itself is rather shaky, the writer seemed to stick the twist into plot.

I think it’s Anita’s writing style, mixing the past with the present. Like in A Wedding in December, this book is mixing between the the past and the present of of the characters in the book. I have to say, boooriiing.

Middlesex

After spending nights and days reading the book, I finally come to 1 conclusion: this book is so intelligently well written. Jeffrey indeed wasn’t just written a book, but he put his efforts to research what his book is talking about. The issue, too, isn’t easy.

In order to know and understand why we become what we are today, we need to understand our family roots. That’s what Middlesex is all about. The book is dealing with each of the generations in Stephanides family. Yes, I admit this book isn’t an easy book to understand..but I understand the story and yes..It touch me so much that sometimes I feel I am Tess.

Imagine you have someone that love you so much like Lefty to Desdemona.
